Install KelaPro on a computer with access to your Lytec server and with Excel 2007 or 2010 installed.
Follow these easy instructions to connect your medical practice data directly to KelaPro.
Choose Next on the first two screens.
Enter your email address and your reseller's email address if applicable. Neither Moore Solutions, Inc. or KelaPro will sell or otherwise distribute your email address to anyone.
On this screen, enter a location to install KelaPro and click Next to Continue.
Remember this location, since KelaPro will install a variety of spreadsheet templates in this location, including sample Pivot Tables.
Every night KelaPro pulls your practice data from your billing software and updates the KelaPro file.
Enter your Windows username and password to allow KelaPro to run during the night.
Finally, this screen gives KelaPro access to your practice data.
1. Enter the name of the Server with Lytec on it.
2. Choose how you want KelaPro to connect to that server, either using your Windows username and password or using a SQL username and password. KelaPro just needs read-only access to the Lytec Server. You may be able to find this information in Lytec in the Settings Menu under Server Logins. Then enter the Lytec database name, your practice name in Lytec.
3. Click Test Connection to make sure KelaPro can connect to the Lytec data.
4. Click Refresh Data to download your practice data to KelaPro now instead of waiting overnight for current practice data.
5. Click Additional DBs to connect KelaPro to additional Lytec practices.
